We are a small design practice that spent six years choosing furniture for other people’s homes before we ever sold a single piece. Everything on this site is the result of that habit: a short, deliberate catalogue, vetted the way we would vet it for a client, priced without the markup a showroom floor demands.

A Note From The Founder
For six years I worked across the Middle East and Turkey, specifying pieces for private homes and offices. You learn quickly that the difference between a room that works and a room that almost works is rarely the budget — it is the joinery, the seat depth, the finish, the two centimetres nobody measured.
Tamimi Home exists so that judgement is available to you directly, without a showroom’s overhead attached to the price. Every piece here is one I would place in a client’s home.

How We Operate
We do not hold a warehouse, and we say so plainly. We curate; vetted partners in the United States hold the stock and ship it. That structure is the reason a piece with this level of construction is not priced the way a showroom would price it.
What we do hold is the standard. Every supplier is reviewed before a single item is listed, and every item is reviewed again before it goes live — materials, dimensions, finish, packing method, and the actual delivery record. Items that do not clear that review are never published, and items that stop clearing it are removed.

Construction before appearanceSolid frames, real joinery, hardware that is rated for the weight it carries. A finish can be photographed; a joint cannot be faked.

Proportion that survives a real roomSeat heights, table clearances and depths checked against the way American homes are actually laid out — not against a studio backdrop.

Material honestySpecies, weave, weather rating and finish stated as they are. If a piece is veneer, powder-coated steel or all-weather resin, the listing says so.

Measured, not estimatedDimensions confirmed against the supplier’s own specification before publication, because a two-centimetre error is a returned sofa.

Packing that arrives intactThe crating and corner protection are part of the review. A piece that ships badly is a piece we do not list.

One point of contactOur partners ship; we stay responsible. Styling advice, material questions, tracking — you write to us, not to a warehouse.

If you already know the room you are working on, start there. If you do not, start with the piece that anchors the room — the table, the desk, the seating — and let the rest follow it. The full house, room by room, is arranged the way we would walk a client through it.

Where do you ship, and what does it cost?
Anywhere in the contiguous United States, at no charge. Every order ships tracked and insured, and the tracking reaches you by email the moment it is issued.
What happens if a piece is not right in the room?
You have fifteen days. Write to us at info@tamimi-home.com and we arrange the return — the same team that helped you choose it handles it.
Can you advise before I order?
Yes, and we prefer it. Send the room dimensions, the pieces already in it, and what the space has to do. Six years of specifying rooms is a faster route to the right answer than a filter is.
