Velvet Sofas Built for Deep, Everyday Comfort

A velvet sofa holds light differently from any other fabric: the pile catches it, so the colour shifts as you move around the room. Our edit pairs that sheen with frames made to be sat on daily, from button-tufted Chesterfields to low cloud sectionals with sink-in cushions.

Curved Boucle Sofas and Modern Silhouettes

A curved boucle sofa softens a square room. Its looped texture reads warm and tactile, and the rounded back invites conversation rather than a straight line facing the TV.

Choosing the Right Size

Measure the wall and leave at least 30 inches of walkway in front of the seat. An 82-inch three-seater suits most living rooms; a 118-inch sectional anchors an open plan.

Care

Brush velvet with the pile, vacuum boucle on a low setting, and blot spills straight away.
