Our handmade 3 tier serving stand is cut from reclaimed Douglas fir, a timber prized for its straight grain and warm, honeyed tone. Each tier is faceted by hand, so the edges catch the light in soft planes rather than a single hard line. A beeswax finish is worked into the surface, deepening the grain and leaving a quiet, satin feel under the fingertips. Because the wood is reclaimed and the work is done by hand, small variations in tone and texture are part of its character.

Proportions and Sizing

The stand measures 12" long, 6" wide and 18" high, a slender footprint that gives real height without crowding the table. Three tiers are set along one centre post, stepping upward so each level stays open and easy to reach. A T handle crowns the post, making it simple to lift the whole arrangement from kitchen to table in one calm movement. The narrow width suits a sideboard, a kitchen counter or the middle of a long dining table, where it draws the eye upward and leaves room for plates and dishes around it.

Caring for Your Stand
